Davis & Associates helps clients from mid-sized corporations to individual families throughout South Texas and beyond. We handle all aspects of Immigration Law, including writs of habeas corpus and mandamus, deportation defense, family-sponsored immigration, temporary visas for work and college, permanent residence, employer compliance, consular visa processing, naturalization and waivers, etc.
Mr. Davis first opened his business in McKinney, Texas in 2007. After one year, he relocated his firm to Dallas to accommodate his many clients from across North Texas. Since launching the practice over 10 years ago, Davis & Associates has represented countless clients in seeking immigration benefits in the United States.
As a native Texan, Mr. Davis graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin with his Doctor of Jurisprudence (law degree). During law school Mr. Davis interned with an immigration attorney. Since graduation, he has only practiced US Immigration Law.
Before opening Davis & Associates, Mr. Davis worked for 7 years as an immigration lawyer in the law offices of Tidwell, Swaim and Associates and the law offices of Miley & Brown. It was while working with Miley & Brown that he earned his certification by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Immigration and Nationality Law.
This respected certification identifies lawyers who are truly exceptional in their field. In order to qualify an attorney must display a high level of efficiency in every area of immigration law including passing a rigorous exam to prove he fully understands all the statues, relevant court cases, and regulations concerning immigration law in the United States. To retain the certification additional ongoing legal education is necessary. Mr. Davis has remained certified since 2005.
Mr. Davis has been selected as a Texas Monthly Rising Star Super Lawyer numerous times, and has been invited to speak at numerous continuing legal education conferences throughout the country and internationally, including the National Conference of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
